walls are attached and drywall compound added to the sides with a dusting of sand.  I put a layer of paint on the top of the hills so the spraypaint wont eat the foam where I want it flat.

New project of themed hills for my board and my brothers board.  Each will have a small and a large hill.

This weekends games

Some pics from this weekends game with the new zuzzy board.

Folding Terrain board and Zuzzy.

I worked on several things the other night.. I glued the zuzzy board down to my folding table.  I also didn't like the sulfur look so I repainted it to snow for my troll theme.

A simple hill OVERKILL!!!!

So the project for the day was to make a simple hill for my brother and nephews terrain set to go along with their folding board...

Brother Joe doesn't care for sloped hills as the minis tend to fall over.  As this is for them I added a few ramps to make it easier for the models to stay on.

 Well since it was a nice ramp, I decided to go ahead and put flag stones on it to dress it up.  And, a few walls to frame it in.

While I'm at it, I may as well ring the wall around and add some cover for a better flavor to this simple hill.









Joe plays Menoth.. so why not add a few pillars to give the sense of a temple.

Nice big space to put a lot of green!  Maybe put a few stones in there to break it up a bit...

Final painting and details still to come.  But here it is, a simple hill.

Finished the terrain boards and glued them into the frames this weekend.

Finished up my Trollkin Champions this weekend.  Well, they are never truly finished, I always want to go back in and add more details.  I played with dipping on this group.. Turned out a little darker than I like, but it has some possibilities...

Folding Terrain Board Pt 3

 Here is an update on the boards.. The wood work is all finished and the latch hardware is done.  My original idea for the cabinet handles is not going to work.  I am going to use leather straps instead.  This is the two tables folded and stacked.

 Beginning work on the terrain boards for my brother's board.  He wanted simple flat terrain with removable hills.

Nice different mix of turf rather than doing a straight green turf.
